2021 WHITTIER PLANT SALE

2021 marks our 23rd year of benefitting Whittier International Elementary PTA in Minneapolis. Hanging baskets, annuals, perennials, vegetables, and herbs are available for PRE-ORDER ONLINE ONLY through Thursday, May 6 at 9:00 p.m. Quantities are limited, and plants will not be available for purchase in person.

Curbside plant pickup using social distancing practices will be in the afternoon of Friday, May 7, 2021 at school. We’ll email customers with pickup time frame, but it’s anticipated to be between 1:00-5:30 p.m. We’ll have your order separated for you to load into your vehicle and ask that you maintain a 6- to 10-ft distance from volunteers and other customers.

Delivery is available within a 5-mile radius of the school for a $15 fee. We will call or text you when your plants have been dropped off.

Because we’ll be operating this year on a very reduced volunteer effort to minimize any virus exposure, we’ll be selling assorted flat of plants from our annual offerings. With the exception of hanging baskets and pollinator paks, customers will be unable to request specific plants. Please consider purchasing multiple flats to safely divide with your neighbors, friends and family.

We’re offering 10 varieties of our lush hanging baskets and the popular Pollinator Packs, as well as taking pre-orders for Fall Belgian or MN Hardy Mums. Fall mum pre-orders will be distributed in Fall, close to beginning of next school year.

Payment is due upon order. Plants not picked up will be considered donated to Whittier and refunds will not be issued.
