Hi there! 

I am so excited to be your child's first grade teacher! I began teaching at Whittier in 2012. In 2008, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in History, Spanish, and Women's Studies. After living in Spain for three years, I attended St. Mary's University where I received my teaching license and Masters in Instruction. 

In my free time I love to be outdoors. You can see me around town biking, walking and kayaking. Travel is something else I really love to do. I have hiked Salkantay in Peru, seen the Yuyuni Salt flat in Bolivia, and eaten the best pasta in Italy. 

Whittier is my community school and I wouldn't have it any other way!
