My name is Sam Daniewicz and I’m excited to work with you at Whittier this year! My education that led me here includes a B.A. in Psychology from University of Minnesota, Morris and a Master’s in Special Education from the University of St. Thomas. I became a teacher through the Minneapolis Special Education Teacher Residency, a program designed to help those who already work for the school district and want to stay and teach in the district obtain their licensure. Before entering this program and becoming a teacher, I was a special education assistant in the district. At Whittier, I am working with 2^nd and 3^rd graders who receive special education services. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy playing soccer, camping, biking, and relaxing with my family and dog.
