Greetings!
I am so excited to be your child's 4th grade teacher this school year. I began teaching at Whittier in 2015. I love the community and am thrilled to be here! I have my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Hispanic Studies from the College of St. Benedict and my teaching license in K-6 elementary education from the University of St. Thomas.
In my free time, I enjoy calligraphy (see above!), going for bike rides and walks with my husband, and trying new foods. I am especially passionate about reading, and I enjoy growing my classroom library to ensure that students can experience this same love of books. Every day, I strive to connect students with books that allow them to feel the magic of reading. In doing so, I hope for students to develop the habits of lifelong readers and make significant gains in their academics. Please let me know if you ever need book suggestions for your child!
You can contact me whenever at Elizabeth.Mundt@mpls.k12.mn.us.
