Accelerated Reader : Students select books, practice reading and earn points to ensure reading success. 1st - 2nd grades on Wednesdays with Christie Botts. ???3rd - 5th grades on Thursdays with Christopher McKimm. ?


African Dance & Rhythm :What is life without music? Use creative movement to explore music and dance from West Africa. Students will play instruments and learn traditional dances. 1st-3rd grades. Tuesdays and Thursdays with Francis Kofi and Felicia Adeti.


Compartiendo dos mundos : This class is for students who have recently arrived from Latin America and need English language support. Students will learn about Mexican history and culture by studying Dia de los Muertos, making ofrendas and calaveras de azucar and other activities.?3rd, 4th & 5th grades. Tuesdays with Mary Daub. ?


Cool Computer Skills: Learn basic computer skills in Kid Pix Studio Deluxe and Storybook Weavers while completing fun assignments. All the cool work will be compiled into portfolios to document what you’ve learned. 1st - 2nd grades. Wednesdays with Patty Myers. ?

Capoeira : A Brazilian art form that represents struggle, self-defense, sport, dance, folklore, culture, music, poetry, game, philosophy and wisdom. Students learn self empowerment and courtesy. In partnership with the Afro-Brazil Capoeria Association, Mixed-level class 1st-5th grades. Tuesdays and Thursdays with Yoji Senna and the Afro-Brazilian Capoeira Association.


Fun With Fairy Tales: Increase reading readiness and learn the art of acting. This fun class will explore classic and contemporary stories by acting them out. 1st grade. Wednesdays with Shanika Wallace and Annie Richardson. ?


Girlfriends: Join the club where you will hang out with your friends and make arts and crafts, get help with your homework and record your deepest thoughts in your own private journal. Most of all, you will have fun with your Girlfriends. 1st and 2nd grades. Mondays and Wednesdays with Shirley Williams. ?


Latin Arts and Culture: Learn about Latin culture through the arts, from ofrendas and the Day of the Dead to pinatas and celebrations. 3rd - 5th grades on Mondays and Wednesdays with Lourdes Cue. 1st - 2nd grades on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Lourdes Cue.


Latin Dance — Beginning: Anyone with a love of music, rhythm and movement can learn basic steps of Mexican folk dances. 1st-5th grades. Mondays with Ruth Cruz and Edgar.


Latin Dance - Intermediate: Students who have already completed a Latin Dance class will practice the folk dances from Jalisco, and perform the Jarabe and the Alazanas dances at the Holiday Bazaar. 1st -5th grades. Wednesdays with Yehimi Espenoza.


Math Madness: Students will stretch their limbs doing fun activities like kickball, basketball and dancing, and will stretch their minds with fun math games like Balloon Ride, Count and Pass and Tanagrams. 1st grade. Mondays with Sarah Reed. ?


Soccer Fundamentals: This class is for students new to the game of soccer. We will work on developing fundamental skills and learning the rules of the game. 1st and 2nd grades. Tuesdays and Thursdays with Dan Andrade.


Word Wizards: Join this group for great stories (including yours!), lively discussions and creative writing. No rules, no homework. 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Tuesdays and Thursdays with Daphne Bodine. ?
